    The story is centered in a village where the parents of first cousins Sujatha (Sadha) and Raghu (Gopichand) decide that both will be married when they become adults. As a child, Sujatha’s uncle gives her anklets, which she wears as she grows up. As they grow older, Raghu is caught smuggling money from his house. At school, Raghu beats up a kid for talking to Sujatha. They quarrel, and soon Raghu’s family leaves for another village. Sujatha grows to be an attractive college girl, while the villain Raghu becomes a good-for-nothing character. On her way to college, Sujatha meets Ravi (Jayam Ravi), a poor but handsome, charming enthusiastic boy when he asked her to wear her anklets to college again, and soon after their quarrels they fall in love. . On the day of her marriage, Sujatha elopes with Ravi and the action hots up as they are chased by Raghu and his thugs.

    Ajith is a straight forward young man who leads a happy life with his parents and younger sister. He happens to meet the heroine Sada and both fall for one another. Ajith’s sister is pregnant and at the time of delivery, he takes her to a hospital. The doc there expects bribe but when it is not forthcoming, neglects his duty because of which Ajith’s sister dies. Ajith comes to know that this is not the first instance in the hospital and the doctor is none other than Riyaz Khan’s brother. When he goes out to get him, Riyaz Khan and his father do all that they can to protect this guy from Ajith. That is where the action part of the movie takes off. How Ajith gets his revenge on the people responsible for his sisters death is the movies climax.

Despite being in a relationship, the latter walks out on the former due to his antics with other women. However, the man changes his ways and on a business trip to Melbourne, he encounters another woman. This other woman’s personal assistant turns out to be the man’s former lover. The events that follow and who the man eventually gets together with form the crux of the story.
