Desperadoes of the West (1950)
PKR 250A group of ranchers, led by Colonel Arnold and Ward Gordon, are drilling an oil well but getting fierce opposition from an unknown gang of outlaws. Eastern promoter J.B.”Dude” Dawson, is behind the gang as he is out to prevent the co-op members from striking oil before their lease expires, so he can secure the property for his company. When Ward, with the help of Arnold and his daughter Sally, arranges for a new driller to be brought in, the replacement man is killed and one of Dawson’s men takes his place.

The Dakota Kid (1951)
PKR 250Dakota Kid is a young outlaw who joins a gang headed by Ace Crandall. Crandall’s aim is to unseat Sheriff Tom White and then use his power to enrich himself at the community’s expense. Dakota impersonates a long-lost nephew of the sheriff, and is made a marshal. Through his association with the sheriff’s grandson, Red White and his friend Judy, plus falling in love with Mary Lewis, the Kid gradually reforms.

Rodeo King and the Senorita (1951)
PKR 250Lacey is after the profits of the Foster and Morales rodeo show. He has Morales killed during a stunt and then forces Foster to take him on as a silent partner. When Rex Allen joins the show, Lacey tries to get rid of him also. But Rex survives and now believes Morales’ accident may have been murder.

PKR 250Director Charles Lamont’s 1955 comedy, about a girl from the sticks doing drudge work at a hotel and dreaming of a better life, stars Judy Canova, Robert Lowery, Jacqueline de Wit, Richard Deacon, Robert Burton, James Bell, Marjorie Bennett, Leon Tyler, William Fawcett and Mimi Gibson.

Bandits of the Badlands (1945)
PKR 250Sunset Carson plays a wandering cavalier who rides into the Badlands (hence the title). Heroine Peggy Stewart is bedeviled by bandits who’ve been raiding the livestock of her ranch. Carson plays his cards close to the vest for 45 minutes, then goes after the baddies in the film’s last reel. Also in the cast is Monte Hale, not far removed from his own Republic series. Bandits of the Badlands is kept on the move by director Tommy Carr, who manages to convey the illusion that Sunset Carson has genuine acting ability.

Colorado (1940)
PKR 250Trouble in Colorado is tying up Union troops needed back east during the Civil War and Lieut. Burke is sent to investigate. Macklin and his gang are causing the problems and Capt. Mason joins them. When Burke catches up with them he also finds Mason, his brother.
