    Thunderbirds Are Go!

    Remake of the hit 1960’s television show. In the 21st century, Jeff Tracy, a former astronaut, amasses a colossal fortune and decides that he must use it to benefit others. His answer to this desire is to create International Rescue, a unique private emergency response service equipped with customized designed vehicles and equipment that enable the organization to react to any crisis whether it be in sea, air, land, or space. Jeff’s five sons volunteer to operate as the pilots and field agents, as well “Brain” who acts as the teams engineer. In addition, Jeff’s friend, Kyrano and his daughter Tanusha aka Kayo (based on the original series Tin-Tin character) agree to be the support staff. In addition to the field team, IR also maintains an intelligence network with Lady Penelope and her ex-con chauffeur, Parker as the chief agents in this arm.

    The Roy Rogers Show

    The Roy Rogers Show is an American Western television series that broadcast one hundred episodes on NBC for six seasons between December 30, 1951 and June 9, 1957. The show starred Roy Rogers as a ranch owner, Dale Evans as the proprietress of the Eureka Cafe in fictional Mineral City, and Pat Brady as Roy’s sidekick and Dale’s cook. Brady’s jeep Nellybelle had a mind of her own and often sped away driverless with Brady in frantic pursuit on foot. Animal stars were Roy’s Palomino horse, Trigger and his German Shepherd wonder dog, Bullet.

    The show was filmed at the Samuel Goldwyn Studio, and originally sponsored by General Foods. The show’s theme song, “Happy Trails”, was written by Dale Evans and sung over the end credits by Rogers and Evans.

    The show received an Emmy nomination in 1955 for Best Western or Adventure Series, but it lost out to the syndicated Stories of the Century, an anthology series starring and narrated by Jim Davis.

    Beginning in 1961, CBS broadcast reruns of The Roy Rogers Show for three and a half seasons on Saturday mornings. Reruns also aired in France in 1962. Reruns are currently being aired on RFD-TV, which also sells T-shirts and plush toys of Trigger and Bullet. Reruns are also currently broadcast on local Christian television channel in Florida, “Good Life 45”.

    The Kids From C.A.P.E.R.

    The Kids From C.A.P.E.R. was a Saturday morning live action television comedy series for children, produced by NBC, that aired from September 11, 1976, to November 20, 1976, and resumed from April 9, 1977, to September 3, 1977. The 13 episodes were produced and directed by Stanley Z. Cherry; among the executive producers was rock impresario Don Kirshner. Both Cherry and Kirshner had worked for previous television series; Kirshner notably for the similairly-themed The Monkees.

    Although the show has not been released on video, there is an LP of most of the songs from the series, released by Kirshner Records and Tapes in 1977. One of the songs from the series, “When It Hit Me” was released as a single. In addition, it was recorded by Rob Hegel for his 1980 album released by RCA. “Tit For Tat,” and “Baby Blue” had both been previously released by Neil Sedaka on his 1975 album “Hungry Years.”

    Secret Squirrel is a funny animal cartoon character created by Hanna-Barbera, and also the name of his segment in the The Atom Ant/Secret Squirrel Show, which debuted in 1965. He was given his own show in 1966, but was reunited with Atom Ant for one more season in 1967. Secret first appeared in a prime-time animated special called The World of Atom Ant and Secret Squirrel, which aired on NBC on September 12, 1965.

    The Secret Squirrel half-hours included three individual cartoon segments: “Secret Squirrel,” “Squiddly Diddly,” and “Winsome Witch.” Secret Squirrel’s shorts were a parody of the then-popular spy genre, with most of his shorts’ elements satirizing those of the James Bond films. Secret Squirrel was also known as “Agent 000”. Beginning in 1993, thirteen new Secret Squirrel cartoons appeared in between the 2 Stupid Dogs episodes, with the updated title, Super Secret Secret Squirrel and a new cast. As of September 5, 2011, episode reruns returned on Boomerang from Cartoon Network.

    Viper is an action-adventure TV series about a special task force set up by the federal government to fight crime in the fictional city of Metro City, California that is perpetually under siege from one crime wave after another. The weapon used by this task force is an assault vehicle that masquerades as a Dodge Viper RT/10 roadster and coupe. The series takes place in “the near future”. The primary brand of vehicles driven in the show were Chrysler or subsidiary companies.

    The Viper Defender “star car” was designed by Chrysler Corporation engineers. The exterior design of the car was produced by Chrysler stylist Steve Ferrerio.
