Crime of Passion (1994)
PKR 150The famous writer Sonia Petrova is killed after having spent a night in a seedy motel with her lover. Her husband Peter is immediately seized by the police, asking him out. The detective investigating the murder of Sonia, Ivan Zanova, is aware of the fact that both Peter and his wife had extramarital affairs. When a homeless recognizes murder, Zanova believe that the case can finally be closed. But a few days later, suffering from Peter’s mistress the same fate as his wife, both victims of a mysterious killer. Ivan understands that there is more than meets the eye in these two murders.

The Ambassador (1984)
PKR 250An Amerian ambassador to Israel tries to bring peace to the Middle East, but his efforts are hampered when his wife has an affair with a PLO leader. Robert Mitchum plays a controversial U.S. ambassador to Israel who tries to solve the Palestinian question while being criticized by all factions, which takes a turn when his wife begins having an affair with a PLO chief. Rock Hudson (in his last theatrical movie role) plays Mitchum’s chief security officer who saves his life in an assassination attempt and tries to help him resolve the conflicts around them.

Värsta språket
PKR 300Värsta språket was a Swedish television series about the Swedish language. The series, which was hosted by Fredrik Lindström and produced by Karin af Klintberg, was broadcast on SVT during 2002 and 2003. The series discussed issues with the Swedish language in an entertaining way.
After two seasons, Fredrik Lindström claimed that the attention from the programme was a burden to him and that he wouldn’t host it anymore. The show was therefore put on hiatus. Lindström did however return with another language-related series called Svenska dialektmysterier in 2006.
Lindström and af Klintberg were given Stora journalistpriset for the programme.
Much of what was mentioned in the show is recorded and can be read in Lindström’s two books: Världens dåligaste språk and Jordens smartaste ord.

Killer
PKR 250Christmas Eve in Paris. Leo Zimmerman is a businessman who lives for his beloved little daughter’s smile. Outwardly, his life is exemplary. However, when Dimitri Kopas walks into his office, pretending to be a normal client, Leo understands that a contract is out on his head and that the young man has come to town to kill him. Overcome with anxiety and paranoia, no longer able to sleep, Leo decides to meet the killer face to face and to broker a strange deal.

Revolver
PKR 250An Italian prison official’s wife is kidnapped, and the kidnappers demand that a notorious prisoner be released in order for the man to get his wife back. He gets the man released – but then kidnaps him himself, in order to ensure that the man’s colleagues don’t kill his wife. Enraged, the gang sets out to free their compatriot and kill the man who took him.

PKR 250Servais Mont, a photographer, meets Nadine Chevalier who earns her money starring in cheap soft-core movies. Trying to help her, he borrows the money from the loan sharks to finance the theatrical production of ‘Richard III’ and gives Nadine a part.
