WCW Starrcade ’97 (1997)
$15.00Starrcade (1997) was the fifteenth annual Starrcade PPV event. It was the tenth Starrcade event produced by WCW, and took place on December 28, 1997 from the MCI Center in Washington, D.C. The main event was between Hollywood Hogan and Sting for the World Heavyweight Championship, with Hogan representing the nWo and Sting representing World Championship Wrestling. The match culminated a year-long buildup of their feud. Other matches included Larry Zbyszko and Eric Bischoff for the control of WCW Monday Nitro, and Curt Hennig and Diamond Dallas Page for the WCW United States Heavyweight Championship. Under card matches included Buff Bagwell vs Lex Luger, Chris Benoit vs Saturn, Bill Goldberg vs Steve McMichael, Eddie Guerrero defending the WCW Cruiserweight Championship against Dean Malenko, and a Six-Man Tag Team match between Scott Norton, Vincent, & Randy Savage versus The Steiner Brothers & Ray Traylor.

Lex Luger & Diamond Dallas Page fought Scott Hall & Randy Savage in a No DQ match, Scott Norton faced The Giant, Wrath & Mortis fought The Faces of Fear, Dean Malenko wrestled Jeff Jarrett, Alex Wright defended his WCW World Television Championship against Ultimo Dragon, The Steiner Brothers tagged against Harlem Heat, and Chris Jericho defended the WCW Cruiserweight Championship against Eddie Guerrero.

WWE SummerSlam 1992 (1992)
$15.00SummerSlam (1992) was the fifth annual SummerSlam. It took place on August 29, 1992 at Wembley Stadium, London, England but was aired in the United States on August 31. The pay-per-view featured two main event matches. In the first, The Ultimate Warrior challenged Randy Savage for the WWF Championship. The Warrior won the match by count-out but did not win the title. In the other main event, The “British Bulldog” Davey Boy Smith pinned Bret Hart to win the WWF Intercontinental Championship. The WWF Tag Team Championship was also defended, as The Natural Disasters retained the championship belts in their match against the Beverly Brothers. One of the heavily promoted matches on the undercard was between Shawn Michaels and Rick Martel. The match, which had a special stipulation that the wrestlers could not hit each other in the face, ended in a double count-out. The WWF considers the crowd to be the third largest live audience ever to attend a WWF/E event, with 80,355 in attendance.

WWE King of the Ring 1993 (1993)
$15.00This was the first of 10 King of the Ring events that was produced as a pay-per-view. It took place on June 13, 1993 at the Nutter Center in Dayton, Ohio. The central focus of this PPV event was the tournament itself. Wrestlers gained entry into the tournament by participating in qualifying matches on WWF TV program. Bret Hart won the tournament by defeating Razor Ramon, Mr. Perfect, and Bam Bam Bigelow. He was attacked by Jerry Lawler during a coronation ceremony, which led to a feud that lasted more than two years. In addition to the tournament, the event featured Yokozuna defeating Hulk Hogan for the WWF Championship as well as Shawn Michaels retaining his belt in a match against Crush for the WWF Intercontinental Championship. The match for the Intercontinental Championship has received positive reviews, but the ending to the WWF Championship match, which featured Hulk Hogan in his final PPV appearance in the WWF until 2002, has been criticized.

The main event was the 3 Ring, 60 Man Battle Royal match to earn a shot at the WCW World Heavyweight Championship. Title defenses at this event included Curt Hennig defending the WCW United States Heavyweight Championship against Ric Flair, Eddie Guerrero defending the WCW Cruiserweight Championship against Rey Mysterio, Jr., The Steiner Brothers defending the WCW World Tag Team Championships against The Blue Bloods, and Saturn defending the WCW World Television Championship against Disco Inferno. Other matches featured included Alex Wright versus Steve McMichael, a Raven’s Rules No DQ match between Raven and Scotty Riggs, Yuji Nagata versus Ultimo Dragon, and The Faces of Fear versus Glacier and Ernest Miller.
