    R. L. Stine’s The Haunting Hour is a Canadian/American original anthology horror-fantasy series, with episodes each half an hour long. The new show was produced by Front Street Pictures, The Hatchery, Incendo Films and Endemol, and premiered on The Hub, which overtook Discovery Kids on October 10, 2010. The show had a sneak peek premiere on October 29, 2010 and returned on December 25, 2010 with two Christmas specials, after which the show is now on weekly. The series is based on The Haunting Hour: Don’t Think About It Movie, and the books The Haunting Hour and Nightmare Hour anthology by R. L. Stine.

    On July 9, 2012, it was announced that R. L. Stine’s The Haunting Hour was one of four original series from The Hub that won the CINE Golden Eagle Award for high quality production and storytelling.

    “The Hub Network” announced at their upfront presentation March 20, 2013 that season four would premiere Fall 2013. A 4th season will premiere in the United States on October 12, 2013 at 7PMEt with two new episodes.
