Uncle Buck (Original)

Roe vs. Wade (1989)

Denied an abortion in Texas the young woman hires a novice lawyer to plead her case in the US supreme court. Eventually the law is changed, but for the character it takes longer than nine months.

Crocodile Shoes
PKR 300 – PKR 400Crocodile Shoes is a British 7-part television series made by the BBC and screened on BBC One in 1994.
The series was written by and starred Jimmy Nail as a factory worker who becomes a country and western singer. The show’s eponymous theme tune “Crocodile Shoes” became a chart hit for Nail as did the album of the same name.
A sequel, Crocodile Shoes II followed in 1996 and the theme tune “Country Boy” was a hit for Nail too.
Paddy McAloon of Prefab Sprout supplied five original songs to the two series, all of them recorded by Jimmy Nail.

Rob discovers that two newly delivered helicopters in his squadron have crashed because a defective part, a C-ring, has been made of a weaker, less expensive alloy. Before Rob can go public with this, Rob is killed on the orders of corrupt General Howard, who did not want Rob to go public with the defective part. Howard believes that Barbara, who is also a marine, now has the part, so Howard and his henchmen set out to kill Barbara and Johnny and get the part, but Howard is underestimating what Barbara is willing to do to protect Johnny.

When she’s not busy reading poetry to her sister Emily, Evie hangs out with James (Fran Kranz), the sensitive boy next door, whose romantic overtures prove too confusing to acknowledge. College also seems too daunting, so Evie deliberately blows one university interview after another in the hopes of staying at home as her sister’s keeper. Meanwhile, Evie begins passing off her own poems as Emily’s, fuelling the belief that her brain-damaged sister is actually a literary savant.
