Black Jack
Black Jack is a Japanese manga written and illustrated by Osamu Tezuka in the 1970s, dealing with the medical adventures of the title character, doctor Black Jack.
Black Jack consists of hundreds of short, self-contained stories that are typically about 20 pages long. Black Jack has also been animated into an OVA, two television series and two movies. Black Jack is Tezuka’s third most famous manga, after Astro Boy and Kimba the White Lion. In 1977, it won the 1st Kodansha Manga Award for shōnen. About.com’s Deb Aoki lists Black Jack as the best “re-issue of previously released material” of 2008.

Uninhabited Planet Survive, also known as Planet Survive is a Sci-Fi/Fantasy and Action/Adventure anime series that aired in Japan on NHK from October 2003 to October 28, 2004. It is a 52 episode series produced by Telecom Animation Film and Madhouse Production.

Earth Maiden Arjuna
Arjuna is a Japanese animated television series created by Shoji Kawamori. The series follows Juna Ariyoshi, a high school girl chosen to be the “Avatar of Time” and entrusted with saving the dying Earth.
“Arjuna” refers to the legendary archer Arjuna from the Hindu epic Mahābhārata, which explains why Juna’s weapon against the Raaja is a bow.
Arjuna aired on TV Tokyo from January 9, 2001 to March 27, 2001, totaling 12 episodes. The DVD release featured remastered video and sound, and a previously unbroadcast “Chapter 9”. Subsequent re-runs of the series on Animax include the DVD-only episode.

Ultraviolet: Code 044
Ultraviolet: Code 044 is an anime series loosely based on the 2006 science fiction film, Ultraviolet written and directed by Kurt Wimmer.
The show was produced by the anime studio Madhouse and was directed by Osamu Dezaki. The series received positive reviews, being praised by the story context, themes and soundtrack.

InuYasha
Kagome Higurashi is a modern day young girl who lives with her family by the old Higure shrine. Unbeknownst to Kagome, she is the reincarnation of priestess Kikyo and posseses the “Jewel of Four Souls” (the Shikon jewel). One ill-fated day, Kagome locates an ancient well near her home and is abruptly transported through the well and into a feudal Japan, inhabited by demons. There, she encounters Inuyasha, son of a powerful demon father and a human mother, who is pinned to a tree by an enchanted arrow.

Ginban Kaleidoscope
Ginban Kaleidoscope is a series of light novels written by Rei Kaibara and illustrated by Hiro Suzuhira. A manga adaptation authored by Jun Hasegawa was serialized in Margaret from 2005 to 2006. An anime adaptation of the first arc of the novels aired on TV Tokyo from October 8, 2005 to December 24, 2005.
The series won the 2nd Super Dash Novel Rookie of the Year Award Grand Prize.

Darker than Black
Darker than Black, known in Japan as Darker than Black: Kuro no Keiyakusha, is an anime television series created, directed and written by Tensai Okamura and animated by Bones. It premiered across Japan from April 5, 2007 on MBS, TBS, and its affiliated broadcast stations, with its satellite television premiere in Japan on Animax in May 2007. The music for the series is composed by Yoko Kanno. The series has also been adapted into two manga series, which are serialized in Monthly Asuka and in Young Gangan. The anime also was awarded Best Original Anime of The Year by GoGoplex, a popular magazine for teens.
A sequel titled Darker than Black: Gemini of the Meteor premiered in Japan on October 8, 2009.

Wangan Midnight
After losing a street race to Tatsuya Shima’s legendary “Blackbird” Porsche 911 Turbo, high school student Akio Asakura purchases a heavily-modified first-generation Datsun S30 Fairlady Z from a junkyard. The car has a dark history of accidents, leading some to believe it’s cursed; hence its nickname “Devil Z.” Akio also discovers that the Z’s first owner shared his first and last name, and was killed in the car during a race with the Blackbird. Meanwhile, fashion model Reina Akikawa joins the rivalry between Akio and Tatsuya with her modified Nissan Skyline GT-R R32.

Little Women, also known as Ai no Wakakusa Monogatari is a 1987 Japanese animated television series adaptation of Louisa May Alcott’s Little Women, produced by Nippon Animation.
A sequel series, Little Women II: Jo’s Boys, premiered in 1993.

Witchblade
Witchblade is an anime series based on the American comic book by the same name. Instead of an adaptation of the original story, the producers decided to create an entire new setup, with all new characters. This co-production between Japanese studio Gonzo and American publisher Top Cow, who owns the rights for the Witchblade franchise, was licensed for release in the United States. The English dub premiered on the US cable network IFC in January 2008. The show aired on Tuesdays & Wednesdays at 3:30 AM ET, and the series finale aired on June 13, 2008, on IFC. The show is also available on a purchase-to-download system on Xbox Live and PlayStation Network. The first twelve episodes are also available for download via Amazon’s Unbox service. The show is also available on Netflix Instant Stream. As of June, 2011, it was available free on Hulu.
As of December 2008, in the USA and Canada there were 6 Volumes on DVD available, with Vol. 1 having been released in September 2007. There is also a full boxed set containing all 24 episodes and an extra disc with special features. A Blu-ray box set was released on November 3, 2009.
The anime was directed by Yoshimitsu Ohashi, who directed Galaxy Angel and Galaxy Angel Z, and the characters were designed by Uno Makoto, the character designer for Stellvia and Love Hina.

Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam
Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam is a television anime, part of the Gundam series and a sequel to the original Mobile Suit Gundam. The show was created and directed by Yoshiyuki Tomino, with character designs by Yoshikazu Yasuhiko, while the series’ mechanical designs is split among Kunio Okawara, Mamoru Nagano, and Kazumi Fujita. The series was originally aired by Nagoya Broadcasting Network, rerun on the anime satellite television network, Animax, across Japan and later its respective networks worldwide, including East Asia, Southeast Asia, South Asia, and other regions.
Between 2005 to 2006, the series was reproduced and compiled into a movie trilogy, Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam: A New Translation. Though still directed by Tomino, it involved many changes in the original storyline.
