Bates Motel
A “contemporary prequel” to the 1960 film Psycho, depicting the life of Norman Bates and his mother Norma prior to the events portrayed in Hitchcock’s film, albeit in a different fictional town and in a modern setting. The series begins after the death of Norma’s husband, when she purchases a motel located in a coastal Oregon town so she and Norman can start a new life.

People Like Us
People Like Us is a British reality documentary series broadcast on BBC Three. The programme tries to reflect the true lives of some of the residents of the Harpurhey district of the city of Manchester, which according to the programme has continually ranked as one of the most deprived in the UK. It has been critically panned both in Manchester as well as the wider UK for showing a very stereotypical view of the residents. Each episode lasts 60 minutes. The narrator of the programme is Natalie Casey.

In the Flesh
In the Flesh is a BAFTA award-winning BBC Three supernatural drama series starring Luke Newberry. Written and created by Dominic Mitchell, the show began airing on BBC Three on 17 March 2013 with the first series consisting of three one-hour-long episodes. Set after “The Rising”, which is the show’s take on a zombie apocalypse, the drama focuses throughout on reanimated teenager Kieren Walker and his return to his local community.
An extended second series of the show, consisting of six one-hour-long episodes, began airing in the United Kingdom on BBC Three on 4 May 2014 and in the United States on 10 May 2014 on BBC America. In January 2015, BBC Three announced that In The Flesh would not be renewed for a third series due to cuts to its budget for its final year as a televised channel.

Franklin and Friends
Franklin and Friends is a Canadian CGI children’s television series produced by Nelvana. It is the second adaptation of the classic characters from the Franklin the Turtle series of children’s books written by Paulette Bourgeois and illustrated by Brenda Clark, the first of which was Franklin, which was also produced by Nelvana. The new series was announced by Nelvana on September 28, 2010, and it debuted on Treehouse TV on March 4, 2011. The theme song itself is a revamped up to date version of the original series theme, “Hey It’s Franklin”. It premiered in the United States on Nickelodeon on February 13, 2012 and Nick Jr. on March 1, 2012. It also premiered in the Singapore on Mediacorp on February 15, 2012.
