    Crashing

A comedy drama that crashes straight into the lives and loves of six twenty-something adults living together as Property Guardians in a disused hospital.

In amongst the asbestos and abandoned x-ray machines live sexually explosive estate agent Sam, frustrated French artist Melody, shy and excitable Fred, and happily engaged couple Anthony and Kate. It’s practically peaceful. That is, until the spontaneous arrival of Lulu, Anthony’s oldest and least responsible friend… In an age of unaffordable housing and sky-high rents, becoming a Property Guardian has never been so appealing, with thousands of people paying as little as £25 a week to live in unoccupied buildings in exchange for ‘protecting’ the property from disrepair. Just imagine waking up every morning in your own historic building in the most exciting city in the world. Even if it is an enormous, creepy, derel.

    Being Human

Being Human is a British supernatural drama television series. It was created and written by Toby Whithouse for broadcast on BBC Three. The show blends elements of flatshare comedy and horror drama. It originally starred Lenora Crichlow as Annie Sawyer, Russell Tovey as George Sands and Aidan Turner as John Mitchell — all of whom were sharing accommodation and attempting as best as they can to live a “normal” life and blend in with the ordinary humans around them. In the third series, Sinead Keenan became part of the main cast as Nina Pickering. In the fourth series the ensemble was joined by Michael Socha as Tom McNair and Damien Molony as Hal Yorke. The fifth series added Kate Bracken as Alex Miller. The first two seasons were set in Totterdown, Bristol, and the third season onwards relocated to Barry, Wales.

On 13 March 2011, series creator Toby Whithouse announced that Turner had left the show and that new characters would be introduced. On 11 November 2011, Russell Tovey announced that he was leaving Being Human after the first episode of Series 4 to work full-time on his other show, Him & Her. Game On

    Game On

Game On was a British television sitcom series about the lives of three 20-somethings from Herne Bay sharing a flat in Battersea in south-west London. The title, originally derived from a stock screen term used by 1980s early computer video games to initiate a competitive encounter, was taken from English urban slang speech of the 1990s lad culture which the principal character Matthew Malone was an exemplar of. It was directed by John Stroud, produced by Sioned William and the BBC Television Head of Comedy Geoffrey Perkins, and executive produced by Denise O’Donohue on behalf of Hat Trick Productions for the BBC.

After a successful first series, the option suffered somewhat from the loss its lead player Ben Chaplin, who quit the cast unexpectedly after receiving an offer of a film role in Hollywood on the back of his performance in Game On.

The first two series were written by Andrew Davies and Bernadette Davis. Davis wrote the final series alone.

The show’s theme tune was “Where I Find My Heaven” by the Gigolo Aunts. The single reached number 29 in the UK singles chart in May 1995.
