Yamibo – Darkness, the Hat, and the Travelers of the Books
Hatsuki is a highschool student living with her sister, Hatsumi, who she has a huge crush on. On Hatsumi’s 16th birthday, she is suddenly surrounded by a green light and disappears in front of Hatsuki!
She manages to follow Hatsumi with the help of a being resembling a fat baby chick (literally), ending up in a place called “The Great Library”, which is full of different worlds stored in books. Hatsumi wasn’t there, though, so the search for Hatsuki’s great love begins and involves traveling from book to book.

Rinshi!! Ekoda-chan
Ekoda-chan is from the countryside, living alone in the city. She’s a temp worker and a strong, carefree soul, with no solid plan for the future, who doesn’t care much about guys. She talks about how she lives her life and provides support to all those women trying to survive in the real life society.

Higepiyo
Higepiyo is a four-panel gag manga by Risa Itō about a small yellow bird with a mustache, who ends up as a pet of a boy named Hiroshi. Serialized between 2004 and 2006 in Shueisha’s Chorus magazine, the series was later compiled into a single volume in January 12, 2007. It was adapted into an anime series, which premiered on April 3, 2009, directed by Atsushi Takeyama, scripted by Natsuko Takahashi and with music by Toshio Masuda. The anime adaptation later inspired the creation of a spin-off manga series, published in Ribon magazine.

Murder Princess

The Ancient Dogoo Girl
The Ancient Dogoo Girl is a Japanese comedy tokusatsu series directed by Noboru Iguchi, director of The Machine Girl and RoboGeisha. The show airs on MBS every Wednesday night at 25:25 JST. The ending theme is Denki Groove’s “Dareda!”.
In October 2010, Dogoo Girl premiered its sequel The Ancient Dogoo Girls. The show adds five more Dogoo Girls portrayed by Misaki Momose, Rina Takeda, Manami Nomoto, Maria Yoshikawa, and Haruka Dan. The theme song for the sequel is “Bakuha Seyo! Dogoon V”.
