    UFO Ultramaiden Valkyrie

    UFO Ultramaiden Valkyrie, aka UFO Princess Valkyrie, is an anime series based on the manga of the same name, which has run for at eleven volumes. It was created by the manga group Kaishaku, who are also known for creating Steel Angel Kurumi.

    It follows the story of Kazuto Tokino and the alien Princess, Valkyrie, who gives half her soul to Kazuto to save him after accidentally crashing her spaceship into Kazuto’s family owned public bathhouse and nearly killing him. The splitting up of her soul turned her into a child, but whenever she kisses Kazuto, Valkyrie returns to her adult form for a limited time, and regains the use of her special powers.

    UFO Ultramaiden Valkyrie was directed by Shigeru Ueda for Media Factory Inc. and initially ran for 12 episodes. Since then there has been a two episode OVA, a 12 episode Season 2, a six episode Season 3, and a two episode Season 4. Starting with the fifth episode of Season 2, the director has been Yoshihiro Takamoto. English translation and production of UFO Ultramaiden is by ADV Films, which licensed it for $21,335. In 2008, UFO Ultramaiden Valkyrie Season 3 and 4 became one of over 30 ADV titles whose North American rights were transferred to Funimation Entertainment.

    Burst Angel is a Japanese animated television series directed by Koichi Ohata, from a screenplay by Fumihiko Shimo. It was produced by the Gonzo animation studio.

    Burst Angel takes place in the near future, after a rise in criminal activity forced the Japanese government to allow citizens to possess firearms and establish the Recently Armed Police of Tokyo. The series follows a band of four mercenaries, named Jo, Meg, Sei, and Amy.

    The series aired on TV Asahi from April 6, 2004 to September 14, 2004, totaling 24 episodes. An original video animation, Burst Angel Infinity, was released on March 23, 2007. The music for both the series and OVA was composed by Masara Nishida.

    Macross Frontier is the story of a human space colony fleet trying to find a habitable planet near the center of the Milky Way Galaxy. The story focuses on three young adults and the events that occur around them as the fleet faces a crisis of alien origin.

    Akaneiro ni Somaru Saka, also known in short as Akasaka, is a Japanese adult visual novel developed by Feng and first released for the PC as a DVD on July 27, 2007.     First Love Limited, also known as Hatsukoi Limited, is a Japanese shōnen romantic comedy manga by Mizuki Kawashita. It was serialized by Shueisha in the manga magazine Weekly Shōnen Jump from October 2007 to May 2008 and collected in four bound volumes. The series depicts vignettes in the love lives of eight girls in middle school and high school.

    A drama CD adaptation was released in February 2009, and a light novel in March 2009. An anime adaptation produced by J.C.Staff was broadcast in twelve episodes in Japan from April 11 to June 27, 2009.

    Yozakura Quartet

    Yozakura Quartet is a Japanese manga created by Suzuhito Yasuda that began publishing by Kodansha in 2006, and was then published in the US by Del Rey in 2008. The series was animated in Japan and aired from October 2 to December 18, 2008; it comprises 12 episodes, all of which have aired. The anime was produced by Nomad and aired on TBS on Thursdays. Three anime OVAs were released alongside volmunes 9-11 of the manga, between October 10, 2010 to November 9, 2011. A new anime adaptation of the series was announced in April 2013, with the cast returning from the first anime and OVAs, but it will be produced at Tatsunoko Production to be aired in Fall 2013.

    Yozakura Quartet is Suzuhito Yasuda’s first manga. Before the creation of Yozakura Quartet, he was an illustrator. He drew the original character designs for Yoshikazu Kuwashima’s series Kamisama Kazoku and Ryohgo Narita’s Durarara!!.

The manga was originally serialized for six chapters in the Kadokawa Shoten magazine Ace Next from November 2001 to April 2002 with a single tankōbon collection released on March 22, 2002. The manga has was translated into English and published in the North America by Tokyopop on August 9, 2005. An anime adaptation co-produced by m.o.e, Imagin, and Madhouse aired on Japan’s Kids Station in 2002, but has not been licensed in English. Rizelmine was split into two seasons, both containing 12 episodes each. The first season aired April 2, 2002 through June 18, 2002. The second season, titled Rizelmine II, aired October 5, 2002 through December 21, 2002.
