It was developed with and features music from Finnish symphonic metal band Nightwish’s seventh studio album of the same name; Nightwish’s keyboardist and songwriter Tuomas Holopainen co-wrote the film. Rockstar is a 2011 Indian musical romantic drama film directed by Imtiaz Ali, starring Ranbir Kapoor and debutant Nargis Fakhri, with music composed by A. R. Rahman. The film also stars Shammi Kapoor, Moufid Aziz, Aditi Rao Hydari, Piyush Mishra, Shernaz Patel and Kumud Mishra, with the former making his last silver screen appearance. The film was produced by Eros International Ltd. along with Shree Ashtavinayak Cine Vision Ltd. It follows Janardhan Jakhar a.k.a. JJ and Jordan, who dreams of becoming a big rockstar. He undergoes an emotional change to do so and during the process, a love story follows with a girl named Heer, which takes him from India to Prague. Development of Rockstar commenced in May 2010. Nargis Fakhri was cast as the female lead, after plans to give the role to Kareena Kapoor were shelved. Filming in India took place at Delhi, Kashmir, Mumbai and Dharamsala, while the foreign sequences were shot in Prague and Liberec, Czech Republic.[5]

Anjaana Anjaani (pronounced Anjānā Anjānī; Strangers) is a 2010 Hindi romance film directed by Siddharth Anand, starring Ranbir Kapoor, Priyanka Chopra and Zayed Khan. It was produced by Sajid Nadiadwala under his Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment Pvt. Ltd banner. The music was composed by Vishal-Shekhar, who have composed the music for all of Siddharth’s past three films. The cinematography is handled by Ravi K. Chandran. Anjaana Anjaani was scheduled to release on 24 September, then it was postponed to 1 October 2010.[3] This main storyline of this movie was based on the 2001 Telugu movie Itlu Sravani Subramanyam.
