Chii-chan wa Yukyu no Muko (2008)
Chigusa and Yuuto always spent time together as children. They enter high school at the same time and happen to be put into the same class. Yuuto’s mother ran off and his father is an alcoholic, so it seems as though the only time he can feel any relief from the pain of his life is when he spends time with Chii-chan and can be reminded of the happy little moments from his past.

Feel the Wind (2009)
Haiji was an elite runner, but has not competed due to a past injury. He then meets fellow elite runner Kakeru who also left running, but caused by a dispute. Their meeting inspires both young men to run again, with Haiji choosing the fabled “Hakone Ekiden” (long distance relay race). The race requires a 10 member team so Haiji and Kakeru recruits 8 others (some of whom have never even run before). Within this unlikely group of runners a bond is formed through their training and a belief that they can accomplish the impossible.

“Parade” is the story of a strange living situation in a 2LDK apartment (having two bedrooms, a living-dining room, and a kitchen) in suburban Tokyo. There are five residents ranging in age from eighteen to twenty-eight: Ryosuke (Keisuke Koide), a male student with no motivation or aspirations; Kotomi (Shihori Kanjiya), an out-of-work aspiring actress who longs for a celebrity boyfriend; Miki (Karina), a heavy-drinking female illustrator; Satoru (Kento Hayashi), a male prostitute with a spectator like attitude toward life; and Naoki (Tatsuya Fujiwara), a salaryman who works for a film distribution company and says strange things in his sleep. The roommates are not in any way romantically involved with one another, but one can see subtle hints of affection and friendship among them. In the end, however, none of them really know each other.
Arakawa Under the Bridge: The Movie (2012)
Kou Ichinomiya (Kento Hayashi) comes from a wealthy family & his father runs a famous company. Kou is smart enough to already run several high-flying firms. From an early age Kou’s father taught him to never owe anybody anything. Because of this, when he does owe someone something he will suffer an asthma attack. He’s obsessed with never becoming in debt to another person.
One day, Kou falls into the Arakawa River and is saved by homeless girl Nino (Mirei Kiritani). Kou is in debt to Nino for saving his life. With his obsession over never owing something to another person, Kou asks Nino if there is any way he can pay her back. The girl doesn’t want anything. Kou persists in paying back his debt to her and finally Nino aks Kou to love her. Kou will then start to live under the Arakawa River bridge with Nino and other homeless persons …
Ushijima the Loan Shark (2012)
Mirai Suzuki (Yuko Oshima) becomes responsible for her mother’s debt which is owed to loan shark Kaoru Ushijima (Takayuki Yamada). To begin paying off her mother’s debt, Mirai begins working at a dating cafe. Meanwhile, Jun (Kento Hayashi) is the ambitious and greedy company president for an event group. To borrow money, Jun visits Kaukau Finance owned by Kaoru Ushijima.
Blazing Famiglia (2012)
“Blazing Famiglia” centers around a family of former teenage gangsters. Tetsu Hino (Yoshimi Tokui) was once the leader of the most feared motorcycle gang in the Kanto area. Now, Tetsu Hino is middle-aged man who is looked down upon by his rebellious son Shuhei (Kento Hayashi). One day, Tetsu and his old biker gang gather together again after the daughter of a member is assaulted. Tetsu, worried about his day to day life, nevertheless regains the passion from his biker days. Tetsu then finds out that Ken Igarashi (Jun Murakami) is the man behind the attack. Ken Igarashi has had a grudge against Tetsu for a long time.
Bitter Sweet (2016)
Maki Eda (Haruna Kawaguchi) works for an advertising agency at a large company. She is a single and doesn’t have good luck with men. She also isn’t very good at cooking and likes eating junk food. One day, she meets Nagisa Katayama (Kento Hayashi). He is an art teacher and a vegetarian. Unlike Maki, Nagisa cooks very well. The two people then happen to live together. Maki realizes that she is in love with Nagisa, but Nagisa is gay. Through his cooking, they solve their own problems and become important to each other.

Where I Belong (2017)
Izumi (Kento Hayashi) was abandoned by his parents. He now commits burglary, targeting women and the elderly. He is chased by the cops. While on the run, in the mountains of Miyazaki Prefecture, he helps an injured elderly woman, Suma (Etsuko Ichihara). Izumi then stays at Suma’s home. At first, Izumi keeps an eye for money that he can steal. The people though in the village think Izumi is Suma’s grandson and take care of him. A change takes place in Izumi.
Tomoki Sakai (Kento Hayashi) is your average junior-high student. Fascinated by the diving skills of Yoichi Fujitani (Sosuke Ikemaytsu), an elite athlete born into a family of former Olympic divers, Tomoki joins the Mizuki Diving Club (MDC) where Yoichi trains. However, the club is in the red, and its very survival is under question. Beautiful Kayoko Asaki (Asaka Seto) has just returned from the US and joins the club as a new coach, with the mission to save MDC. Her goal is for the club to produce an athlete capable of competing in the Olympics. She brings in Shibuki Okitsu (Junpei Mizobata), a skillful diver with a wild streak from Tsugaru. Meanwhile, Kayoko discovers that Tomoki possesses a unique ability called “diamond eyes” and inspires him to begin serious training. Tomoki, Yoichi and Shibuki have to overcome personal problems, and struggle through conflicts and setbacks in the sport to achieve their dreams.
