    Flying Rhino Junior High

    Flying Rhino Junior High is a Canadian animated television series produced by Nelvana Limited and STV Productions. It originally aired from October 3, 1998 to January 22, 2000 on CBS Kidshow. Reruns used to be shown on Scottish Television in Scotland. Reruns returned to YTV after a four year absence in 2011. In the US, both seasons can be purchased as downloads from Amazon Instant Video, and in Scotland the first season can be watched on YouTube.

    The series revolved around four kids: Billy O’ Toole, Marcus and Ruby Snarkus, and Lydia Lopez. The series’ main antagonists are Earl P. Sidebottom, AKA The Phanthom and his rat sidekick Ratticus. Earl is a boy genius who some time before the series’ beginning got a “D” grade in shop class and retreated to the school’s sub-basement boiler room in shame. In there, he built a supercomputer capable of altering reality, which uses to cause chaos in the school as revenge, leaving the protagonists to stop him.

    RoboCop: The Animated Series is an American animated series produced in the 1980s by Marvel Productions, and is based on the character and events of the movie RoboCop.

    The animated series was derived from source material with mature themes, as was the case with contemporary animated shows such as Rambo: The Force of Freedom, Mortal Kombat: Defenders of the Realm, Police Academy and Toxic Crusaders. Among the more notable changes were the removal of bullets and a more science fiction setting. In this series, RoboCop had a red light in the middle of his visor.

    The series was animated by AKOM Productions.

    Swamp Thing is an American animated television series based on the DC Comics character Swamp Thing. The series is short-lived, with the pilot episode airing on October 31, 1990 followed by four additional episodes airing weekly from April 20 to May 11, 1991. Produced by DIC Entertainment, the series corresponded with Kenner’s Swamp Thing action figure collection released in 1990. Despite the animated series’ brief run, various merchandise was also produced in 1991 resulting in the only significant marketing platform ever created for the character.

    Like previous film incarnations of Swamp Thing, the animated series rejects the popular Alan Moore revision of Swamp Thing’s origin and portrays him with his original origin as a man turned into a plant-like entity. Anton Arcane takes the role of the main villain responsible for Alec Holland’s transformation into Swamp Thing. Arcane is backed by his gang of Un-Men: Dr. Deemo, Weedkiller, and Skinman. Swamp Thing also has two friends named Tomahawk and Bayou Jack. Tomahawk is Native American not to be confused with the DC/Vertigo character, Thomas Hawk, who was a soldier in the American Revolution rescued by Native Americans. Bayou Jack is a Vietnam veteran.

    Dinosaucers is an animated television series co-produced in the United States and Canada. It was created by DIC Entertainment which has done the overseas animation and in association with Ellipse Programmé and Nelvana. This animated program originally aired in syndication in the USA in 1987 by Coca-Cola Telecommunications. 65 total episodes were made throughout the show’s broadcasting, but it only lasted one season during the 1987-1988 television season.

    The show’s first 21 episodes can be purchased individually by episode or as a set from online retailer Amazon.com.

    There were originally plans by Galoob to release a Dinosaucers toyline, and prototype figures were produced; however, the line was scrapped after the show was canceled. The toys included Stego, Bronto-Thunder, Allo, Bonehead, Plesio, Quackpot, Ankylo, and Genghis Rex.

The series has once again begun airing on U.S. TV on The Hub on October 10, 2010; it previously aired on Cartoon Network from September 2004 through December 2005. In the U.S, it is a Cartoon Cartoon for Cartoon Network. The series’ last episode aired in January 29, 2008 on the Canadian channel Teletoon.

    A sequel series titled Atomic Betty Redux is currently planned for production, which shows Atomic Betty as a much taller and prettier seventeen-year old teenager and an even stronger and more powerful superheroine/Galactic Guardian than ever before since the original series. It is planned for late 2013 and the middle of 2014.

    Spider-Man is an animated television series that ran from September 9, 1967 to June 14, 1970. It was jointly produced in Canada and the United States and was the first animated adaptation of the Spider-Man comic book series, created by writer Stan Lee and artist Steve Ditko. It first aired on the ABC television network in the United States but went into syndication at the start of the third season. Grantray-Lawrence Animation produced the first season. Seasons 2 and 3 were crafted by producer Ralph Bakshi in New York City. In Canada, it is currently airing on Teletoon Retro. An internet meme, commonly known as 1960s Spiderman, regarding the series has received an overwhelming amount of popularity. The meme consists of a screenshot taken at a random part of the series and adding an inappropriate and/or witty text. Since the death of Max Ferguson on March 7 2013, there are only three surviving members from the cast. Those three being Paul Soles the voice of Spider-Man, Chris Wiggins the voice of Mysterio and Carl Banas the voice of the Scorpion.

    Beetlejuice is an American-Canadian animated television series which ran from September 9, 1989 to October 26, 1991 on ABC and, on Fox from September 9, 1991 to December 6, 1991. Loosely based on the 1988 film of the same name, it was developed and executive-produced by the film’s director, Tim Burton. The series focus on the life of goth girl Lydia Deetz and her undead friend Beetlejuice as they explore the world, called The Neitherworld, a wacky afterlife realm inhabited by monsters, ghosts, ghouls and zombies. Danny Elfman’s theme for the film was arranged for the cartoon by Elfman himself.
