Kurara: The Dazzling Life of Hokusai’s Daughter (2017)
Hokusai’s genius was supported by his daughter, O-Ei. The two are believed to have worked on Hokusai’s pictures from his middle-age. Female artists were rare in 19th century Japan, but O-Ei continued to produce art in her own right, despite financial and romantic problems. The first historical drama on NHK WORLD TV will be depicting the story of this remarkable woman, who shared Hokusai’s life.

Yone actually believes in psychic abilities. By an audience request a new plan is set out for the program, a plan which requires the show to uncover real psychics or psychic events.
