    Sitting Ducks

    Sitting Ducks is a children’s animated television series based on lithograph and the 1998 children’s book, Sitting Ducks, created by Michael Bedard.

    Sitting Ducks first appeared in 2001 in Europe, later debuting in North America on Cartoon Network, in Australia on ABC, in Canada on YTV, in the United Kingdom on Nickelodeon, CITV, Disney XD and in the Japanese version of Cartoon Network. The show lasted for two seasons each comprising 13 episodes, with the last episode shown on July 5, 2003. Reruns of the show were aired on Qubo in 2007 and was later aired as part of its Qubo Night Owl block until June 30, 2012. Episodes are also currently available for viewing on Hulu and Netflix.

    Pucca, also known currently as Disney’s Pucca is a Canadian/South Korean animated television series based on a series of shorts created by Vooz Character System. The series revolves around 11-year-old Pucca, a young girl who’s in love and obsessed with a 12-year-old ninja named Garu. It also airs currently on Champ Vision and MBC in Korea. Internationally, the series has aired on Disney XD in the United States, Europe, and other locales on the Disney XD channel.

    The series, Pucca, itself began airing on television in 2006, with a set of 26 episodes. The second season of the show, consisting of 39 seven-minute long episodes, began airing in 2008 after it was ordered to be created by Jetix Europe. In total, including the previous online aired episodes of the show, this brought the number of created episodes to 117.

    Erky Perky was an Australian and Canadian animated television program on YTV developed by CCI Entertainment. and Ambience Entertainment. The show was about two bickering, dimwitted insects, Erky and Perky, who live at a hot dog stand, but are accidentally taken to a house. The show focuses on Erky and Perky trying to settle into the house, living with fellow housebugs, and the hunt for food in a very clean kitchen. It was broadcast once on YTV’s Big BBQ Blowout on July 1, 2006, as a “sneak peek”. Another Erky Perky “sneak peek” episode was shown on August 30, 2006 during YTV’s “Sneek Peek Week”, before airing regularly on September 7. The show premiered on Toon Disney in the United States on September 4, 2006.
