Koan of Spring (2013)
Vietnam 1791. Old Truong, the Emperor’s Master of Arms, feels the end of his life coming. But he has yet to find a successor. The country has to be prepared for war and the Emperor is furiously impatient. He gives Master Truong two weeks to find the one. Truong sets off to visit Master Wing, a famous former General who is now living as a simple fisherman on the shores of a lake. He has three children. Truong wants to test the two sons as his potential successors and asks to see a demonstration of their fighting skill.

The Soldier (2014)
The Soldier tells us about the military operations taking place in the years 1965-1973 when a group of Russian military operatives carried out the advisory support of North Vietnam as well as covert operations to capture the spoils (the enemy’s new war technologies) It is the story of a soldier named Paul who was sent from Moscow military school in Vietnam where he discovers a traitor among his colleagues. However, through a turn of events, he becomes a traitor in the eyes of the commander, and he has to run from his comrades to complete the operation and prove that he is not guilty. Along the way, he joins forces with a North Vietnamese man and an escaped military pilot. The three men make a plan to leave the territory of Vietnam but the road to freedom is full of dangers and surprises. In the end, Paul finds the original traitor and destroys him but he still has to prove his innocence.
This documentary has three stories of Vietnamese women interwoven with the matchmaker’s interview. Through their narration, the audience gets a glimpse of what their living conditions are like in Vietnam, and understands the women’s inner hopes, fears and aspirations, and how marrying to Singapore can help improve their families’ standards of living.
Giap’s Last Day At The Ironing Board Factory (2015)
In 1975, a seven-months pregnant Vietnamese refugee, Giap, escapes Saigon in a boat and, within weeks, finds herself working on an assembly line in Seymour, Indiana. 35 years later, her aspiring filmmaker son, Tony, decides to document her final day of work at the last ironing board factory in America.
On the day the new Chief of Staff arrived at Kitamachi Station, the officers here prepared to welcome him. At that time, a bus was hit by a man with a knife and robbed the passengers in the car. Newcomer Aikawa Minori was kicked out by a passenger when he tried to board the bus. She followed the bus by taxi, but the bus headed straight towards Kitamachi. For some strange reason robbers came to the station to present themselves. Minori then handcuffed her who prevented her from performing her duties. But the man she handcuffs to is the new Sheriff, Toyama Kinshiro.
The Bamboo Incident (1970)
A young Vietnamese boy’s life is thrown into turmoil by the war raging in his country. The ten year old remains with his mother and baby sister as his father goes off to fight for the Viet Cong. During his father’s absence, his mother dies from overwork and the inability to find proper medical care for her illness. He cares for his baby sister and struggles to earn a living by shining shoes and doing other odd jobs before his father returns. Both an American soldier and a Viet Cong regular are shown defending their country’s political agenda. Also shown are guerilla tactics and bombings in this feature directed by veteran combat photographer Raoul Coutard.
Ra Rerng Fai
Yada’s father frames Chakrit’s father for murder and has him arrested. Years later, Chakrit wants revenge on Yada’s family. He starts by seducing Yada’s sister, then abandoning her on their wedding day, embarrassing her and the family in front of guests. Yada is very angry at the man who hurt her family and wants revenge.
Yada and Chakrit fight each other on their families’ behalf, both of them seeing through the otherperson’s tricks.
The siblings soon join in, leading to a huge fiasco of revenge, often backfiring on the perpetrators.
