Four Women in A Harem (1965)
One of the earliest Turkish films to display lesbianism, Haremde Dört Kadın (Four Women in the Harem) tells the story of three women in Pasha’s harem and the newcomer. The film was attacked by fundamentalists, who destroyed the reels duringits screening at the Antalya Film Festival of 1966.
